This is one of my all time favorite Noonie pictures. I think she is six here, but she looks the same now just taller:)
She was born at 6:11pm so this time eight years ago I was still in excruciating induced labor, with no pain meds. I tell everyone I can--DO NOT GET INDUCED. Like no insanity I've experienced before or since. But finally after 22 hours of intense labor she made her debut into the arms of our beloved midwife. I asked the midwife, "What kind of baby is it?"
"A girl kind of baby."
I was so sure she was a boy that I asked if she was sure?! She laughed. It took us another eighteen hours to name her.
She is such a special part of our family, I won't trade her for 100 boys! (Especially now that I've had some boys, LOL).
